We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Independent Occupational Therapist to join our team in making a positive impact on the community.
About the Position- Assess participants' functional abilities through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
- Develop tailored treatment goals for each participant based on assessment findings.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support participants' needs.
- Offer guidance on environmental adaptations in various settings, including home, school, work, and residential facilities.
- Recommend assistive technology to help participants overcome functional limitations and promote independence.
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with NDIS participants is highly valued.
- Relevant insurances, including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
- Police clearance, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- An active ABN.
Key Responsibilities: Providing occupational therapy services to participants, assessing their needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions. Ensuring effective communication with participants, families, and other healthcare professionals. Maintaining accurate records of services provided and collaborating with other teams to achieve best outcomes.
