As a key strategic leader, you will drive commercial growth and success across our Coastal and Maritime Environment Programme by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
In this pivotal role, you will cultivate trusted relationships with clients to expand our influence and secure high-value work, while leading growth for in port development, marine infrastructure, and nature-based coastal resilience areas.
Key Responsibilities- Drive commercial success by developing and executing strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key clients to expand our influence and secure high-value work.
- Lead growth initiatives for in port development, marine infrastructure, and nature-based coastal resilience areas.
- Collaborate with technical leads and subject matter experts to develop compelling proposals and strategic partnerships.
- Contribute to the company's broader leadership community, providing commercial insights and helping to shape strategy and market innovation.
- Inspire and guide teams to achieve high-impact outcomes across complex, multidisciplinary work, ensuring a strong focus on customer excellence.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A proven track record of winning work and influencing clients at a senior level, especially in complex or multi-stakeholder environments.
- 10+ years of experience in coastal or maritime engineering, marine environmental consultancy, or related programme leadership roles—ideally within a technical consultancy or project environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, able to identify new opportunities and balance client needs with long-term value creation.
- Strong leadership experience, including the ability to build and develop a high performance culture across teams.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
