Senior Claims Processing Manager

This role involves leading and executing the technical and quality capabilities of the Claims Intake (CI) team, ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely delivery of indemnity assessments and decision-making activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Process Execution: Manage internal escalations and complaints, seeking expert input when necessary to ensure prompt resolution.
- Technical Support, Coaching, and Feedback: Provide ongoing technical guidance, coaching, and constructive feedback to the Claims Intake (CI) team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Service to Members: Serve as a dedicated contact point for all notifications (incident or claim) and support members in understanding indemnity decision outcomes.
Essential Capabilities:
- Deep understanding of claims processes and indemnity assessment principles.
- Proven ability to coach effectively, provide timely feedback, and guide the team towards process adherence and continuous learning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex decisions clearly.
Desirable Capabilities:
- Understanding of medical indemnity insurance concepts.
- Knowledge of medico-legal claim types.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong grasp of claims processes, indemnity assessments, and excellent communication and coaching skills. They must be able to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and contribute to a positive team culture.
