We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Dhamaal, a renowned vegetarian Indian restaurant in Chermside, QLD.

The successful candidate will play a key role in upholding our high standards of food quality, preparation, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to portion control, presentation, and standards for all dishes.
  • Collaborate with management and staff to ensure proper dish preparation and resolve any kitchen issues.
  • Oversee food hygiene practices, rotation, and compliance with health and safety protocols.
  • Plan menus and demonstrate expertise in menu planning and execution.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Tandoor cooking techniques, including the preparation of naan breads and Indian curries.
  • Minimize food waste and effectively manage labor costs.
  • Work with management to establish production targets for daily and weekly operations.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure proper inventory management to control food costs.

About You

  • Flexibility to adapt to dynamic kitchen demands and schedules.
