Dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Specialist

We offer a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Practitioner to deliver high-quality support plans and services to individuals with complex needs.
- Assisting participants, families and carers in identifying needs through assessment and planning.
- Developing, evaluating and delivering evidence-based support plans within community settings.
- Creating meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework, aiming to eliminate restrictive practices.
- Ensuring plans reflect participants' passions, strengths and aspirations.
- Building capacity and strengths of those supporting participants.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced practitioners.
This role requires a strong passion for the disability sector, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to delivering person-centred services.
Key qualifications include proficiency as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, significant experience supporting individuals with behaviours of concern, and valid driver's license.
About You- Strong understanding of positive behaviour support principles and frameworks.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent report writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to build relationships and engage with stakeholders.
