Senior Management Role

Develop your skills and experience in a challenging senior management position. We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee a workforce at our Lake Vermont site in Dysart, QLD.

About the Job

You will be responsible for developing a strong performance culture that values everyone's contribution equally. Your key duties will include:

  • Leading a team of skilled professionals
  • Implementing effective safety programs
  • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Driving business improvement projects to promote delivery

You will thrive on meeting goals and challenges while acting with fairness and integrity in all aspects of your work. This is a permanent role with a 9-day fortnight roster and full camp facilities provided.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering (highly desirable)
  • QLD SSE Practising certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Experience at senior management level from a mining contractors' perspective
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • A proven understanding of large-scale coal mining, including people management, plant optimisation, planning, scheduling, cost control, and problem-solving
  • Financial and commercial acumen with a focus on unit rate performance
