Rural Generalist Obstetrician Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Rural Generalist to provide obstetric services and medical leadership at our Lachlan Health Service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient obstetric care
  • Participate in on-call obstetrics rosters and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Midwifery Group Practice model of care, promoting excellence in patient outcomes and experience

The ideal candidate will possess significant GP Obstetric skills, with successful completion of training from the Royal Australasian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. They will also demonstrate sound knowledge of clinical quality and patient safety, work health and safety, and commitment to working within current clinical practice guidelines.
