About the Role

The Occupational Therapy department provides generalist Occupational Therapy services to the communities of Parkes and Forbes, NSW. The successful applicant will be working at Parkes Campus site. Days and hours are flexible to suit individual circumstances. The department serves inpatient units as well as community adult and paediatric caseloads, with opportunities to develop skills in other areas if desired. This role primarily involves working in the community, particularly with paediatric clients (0–18). Responsibilities include completing developmental screenings and assessments and providing advice and recommendations to maximise developmental progress and independence of children in Parkes and Forbes. Parkes hospital is a modern facility completed in 2015.

The Occupational Therapy team is supported by a clinical OT senior, with a friendly, small team environment within a larger community health setting.
