Obstetrician Rural Generalist

This position presents a unique chance to work as a medical officer in a rural generalist role with a focus on obstetrics. The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting inpatient and outpatient services, participating in on-call rosters, and providing leadership to the midwifery group practice model of care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality clinical services to patients
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training
- Contribute to the improvement of healthcare services in the region
- Unconditional registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or equivalent
- Significant experience in GP obstetrics and minimum three years postgraduate clinical experience
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, engage in leadership and mentoring programs, and contribute to the delivery of virtual care to rural communities.
