Counsellor - Domestic Family Violence and Sexual Assault Service

We are seeking a highly skilled Counsellor to fill a temporary leave relief position at the Domestic Family Violence and Sexual Assault Service in Wollongong.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients who have experienced sexual abuse, domestic and family violence, and other forms of trauma.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Delivering high-quality, culturally competent, trauma-informed therapeutic counselling and support services to clients
- Working with individuals, children, and families affected by domestic and family violence and sexual assault
- Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in psychology or social work, with eligibility for AHPRA registration as a psychologist or membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers
- Valid NSW Driver's Licence and Working With Children Check
- Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role
