Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a travel consultant in the media and entertainment industry. As a Senior Film Production Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for arranging travel for film productions.

You will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a passion for travel. Previous experience in the travel industry is essential, as well as knowledge of travel systems such as GDS Sabre.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, work independently, and exercise discretion and judgment. They will also have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities
  • Fulfill incoming travel requests/enquiries accurately & efficiently via GDS (Sabre)
  • Assist with group bookings, air/hotels etc
  • Work well and remain calm under pressure, with excellent attention to detail
  • Anticipate and provide proactive assistance on potential challenges that may arise for the client
  • Understand and accurately support Production with crew and talent movements
  • Manage location and large group movements
  • Manage multiple complex itineraries
  • Aid team members within and across teams
  • Provide travel offers and general travel advice to travelers
  • Understand and accurately apply travel supplier rules
  • Maintain current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported
  • Provide the customer with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
  • Support business-driven initiatives
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain quality control
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the travel industry
  • Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
  • Knowledgeable of travel industry systems (i.e., GDS Sabre)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and judgment
  • Demonstrated professional customer service skills
