Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a technical leader to head our Data Extracts team in the Export Development department.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of up to 4 direct reports to scope and generate custom exports using Python, PHP, and SQL.
  • Manage priorities and escalations from clients and internal teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and deliver better outcomes internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with staff and customers to clarify and refine reporting requirements.
  • Coding complex custom exports in PHP, Python, and SQL according to customer specifications.

Requirements:

  • Software development/computer science qualification or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years working in SaaS software development.
  • At least two years leading a team with intermediate leadership skills.
  • Advanced ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced PHP/Python/SQL skills (3+ years).
  • Some exposure/experience with Vue JS.
  • Intermediate working understanding and proficiency in software development project tools - Jira, Git, Confluence.
  • Intermediate knowledge of database principles and technologies.
  • Intermediate customer service skills.
  • Advanced communication, problem-solving, and accountability skills.

  • Knowledge of and experience with the relevant sector.
