Accounts Receivable Expert

This role is critical to our organization's success, as we strive to meet cash flow metrics. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer billing accounts.
Maintaining the Customer Address Book and Master Data is an essential part of this position. This individual will provide key support to the Banking Officer by assisting in entry of payments to customer accounts, completing daily Credit Card Reconciliations and month end reports.
Key responsibilities include conducting credit checks for credit assessment on New Account Applications, ensuring new accounts are actioned within operational guidelines, and following authority matrix to audit policy.
The ideal candidate will ensure the Customer Master Queue in the Address Book is maintained daily, provide regular assistance with data entry of customer receipts to Enterprise Resource Planning system, and assist Cash Collections with running month end tasks.
This role also involves supporting Credit Controllers and assisting with collection of debt in the Accounts Receivable ledger as required. Any other accounts receivable related task may be assigned by the Manager.
All inbound communication from internal and external collaborators must be addressed in a timely manner.
