Situated at a breathtaking location, the Echo Point precinct offers remarkable views of the southern Blue Mountains, Kanangra-Boyd Wilderness, and the famous Three Sisters. This establishment features both upper and ground floor levels, providing a delightful experience in a restaurant, café, and wine bar setting.
Position Overview
We are in search of a proficient barista to fill a casual role, with an expected workload of approximately 30-35 hours per week. The schedule typically spans Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential weekend shifts during busy periods. You will collaborate within a compact team of around 4-5 members.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
- Ability to prepare various coffee types, handling over 40 kilos weekly.
- Familiarity with cold press, aero press, and contemporary coffee trends.
- Active participation in supporting team members is essential.
- Must possess engaging personality traits, confidence, and the ability to foster customer loyalty.
- Exceptional coffee artistry with the capability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are crucial.
- Maintaining impeccable grooming and clear communication skills is necessary.
- Possession of a current RSA Certificate is mandatory.
