Located at a breathtaking vantage point, the Echo Point precinct offers remarkable views of the southern Blue Mountains, Kanangra-Boyd Wilderness, and the famed Three Sisters. This establishment features a restaurant, café, and wine bar, providing guests with stunning vistas from both the upper and ground levels.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled barista to join our team on a casual basis, with an expected workload of approximately 30-35 hours weekly. The schedule typically spans Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential weekend shifts during busy periods. You will collaborate within a compact team of about 4-5 members.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
- Proficiency in crafting various coffee types, managing over 40 kilos weekly.
- Familiarity with cold brew, AeroPress, and current coffee trends.
- A collaborative spirit that supports fellow team members.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster customer loyalty.
- Exceptional coffee artistry with the ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously.
- A willingness to learn and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Impeccable grooming and effective communication skills.
- Possession of a current RSA Certificate is essential.
