About the Venue
Located at a breathtaking vantage point, the Echo Point precinct offers magnificent views of the southern Blue Mountains, Kanangra-Boyd Wilderness, and the famed Three Sisters. This establishment features a restaurant, café, and wine bar, providing an inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy.
Position Overview
We are in search of a proficient barista to work on a casual basis, with an expected commitment of approximately 30-35 hours each week. The working hours are generally from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of weekend shifts during busy periods. You will collaborate within a compact team of about 4-5 members.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
- Capability to prepare a variety of coffee beverages, handling over 40 kilos weekly.
- Familiarity with cold brew, aero press techniques, and current coffee trends.
- A collaborative spirit that supports fellow team members.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster customer loyalty.
- Exceptional coffee artistry with the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
- A willingness to learn and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Impeccable grooming and effective communication skills.
- Possession of a current RSA Certificate is mandatory.
