Teaching and Learning Leader

Flinders University is seeking an exceptional academic to lead teaching and learning across Psychology topics, with a focus on Child and Adolescent Mental Health Assessment. The successful candidate will deliver inspiring instruction, develop curriculum, and apply innovative practices to enhance the student experience.

  • Develop and implement high-quality teaching programs that prepare students for diverse and interprofessional contexts.
  • Lead curriculum development and review, ensuring courses meet the needs of students and industry partners.
  • Apply technology-enhanced teaching methods to improve student outcomes and engagement.

This role is open to international candidates, with relocation support available.

About You

You have expertise in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Educational or Developmental Psychology. You are passionate about enhancing education and supporting students to develop graduate-ready skills and knowledge. You bring energy, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset, and are committed to excellence and innovation in teaching and course coordination.

  • Completion of a PhD in Psychology, and/or a master's qualification with equivalent professional experience.
  • Eligibility for registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Experience in the practice, teaching, and supervision of child and adolescent psychological assessment.
  • Demonstrated capacity for excellence and innovation in tertiary-level teaching and learning.
