Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide person-centred care within a family-friendly environment. Our organisation values work-life balance while serving the community.

As a Community Care Worker, you will be part of a caring team that prioritises the well-being of Seniors in our community. Your role will involve providing essential support and companionship to seniors, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

This is a part-time position, working up to 25 hours per week with flexible scheduling options available.

The Role

You will visit clients in their own homes and support clients with community access, or engage in various individual and group activities at our respite facilities. Services may include:

  • Personal care such as assisting with showering, other personal support and providing medication assistance
  • Shopping and meal preparation, assist with light housekeeping
  • Respite and social support, share common interests and provide companionship
  • Community Access
Requirements
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • An effective communicator
  • Compassionate with a positive attitude
  • Eager to learn and willing to embark on further training and development offered
  • Enjoy providing a quality service with a focus on attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous caregiving experience is a plus
