About Asset Inspect:

Asset Inspect is a leading service provider of insurance risk surveys and building replacement cost assessments nationwide. We offer a challenging, rewarding, and collaborative work environment.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to expand their expertise across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out inspections of commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
  • Document building construction materials.
  • Measure building size in square metres.
  • Photograph the buildings, including drone imagery (where permitted).
  • Calculate the replacement cost of buildings for insurance purposes.
  • Provide a building replacement cost report.

Essential Requirements & Qualities:

  • You are a member of API, with CPV status.
  • Diploma / Degree / Tertiary qualification in either Valuation, Property, Estimating, Development, Construction, or related building studies.
  • You thrive on extensive travel and are comfortable with regular trips to regional and interstate locations.
  • You're a confident communicator with strong writing skills, able to produce clear, concise, technically accurate reports.
  • You are IT-proficient and willing to learn and adapt to new software.
  • You can think on your feet, assess situations and implement effective solutions.
  • You enjoy building relationships with clients to consistently deliver high-quality client experiences.
  • You can work independently while also being a team player.
  • You are highly-organised and have attention to detail.
  • You are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or have permanent residency status.
  • You hold a valid Australian driver's license.
  • You can successfully pass a National Police Check.
