General Factory Hand Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Factory Hand to join our team.

This is a full-time, permanent Day Shift role working Monday to Friday, 6AM-2PM with potential for overtime hours.

  • Our ideal candidate will have experience using sheet metal manufacturing equipment particularly roll form machines and metal bending machinery folders press & breaks would be preferred but not essential
  • Essential Forklift Licence
  • Able to work at pace within a team or at times individually
  • A commitment to producing quality products

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting product drawings manufacturing and assembling goods to customers' requirements operating metal folding roll form and pressing machines conducting basic preventative and breakdown maintenance performing general housekeeping activities participating in relevant training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment and adhering to our critical safety rules contributing to a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in sheet metal manufacturing preferably on roll form machines and metal bending machinery
