The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functions & Events Coordinator to join our team. The successful applicant will have a relevant Diploma qualification or at least 3 years of relevant employment experience, with Res-diary experience being an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote conferences, conventions, and trade shows to potential stakeholders
  • Create and develop the concept for an event
  • Organize all aspects of the event, including sponsors, artworks, promotional materials, menus, and approval from all parties
  • Communicate with staff on the particulars of the event
  • Respond to inquiries concerning services provided and costs for room and equipment hire, catering, and related services
  • Meet with customers to discuss their needs and outline package options to meet these needs
  • Arrange and coordinate services, such as conference facilities, catering, signage, displays, audiovisual equipment, accommodation, transport, and social events, for customers
  • Update Inbound Packages and look after reservations
  • Inbound Menu translation as required

Requirements

  • A relevant Diploma qualification or at least 3 years of relevant employment experience
  • Res-diary experience an advantage
