Process Improvement Specialist

The role of Process Improvement Specialist involves analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to achieve efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate current processes and identify areas ripe for improvement using Six Sigma methods and Lean methodologies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in implementing improvement initiatives and ensuring successful project execution.
  • Define goals and boundaries, secure resources, and track project progress, milestones, and savings.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive organizational change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Analyze complex problems affecting business operations and customer satisfaction, and develop solutions using statistical tools and root cause analysis.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years experience in process improvement and leadership roles.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to conduct root cause analyses and apply statistical tools.
  • Effective leadership and coaching skills, with ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.
