Process Optimization Specialist

As a Process Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and designing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, minimize waste, and guarantee quality.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in process optimization methodologies, hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing, and the ability to lead cross-functional improvement teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading Improvement Projects: Apply process optimization methods (e.g., DMAIC) to achieve strategic objectives such as process enhancement, waste reduction, and quality improvement.
  • Process Assessment & Improvement Identification: Evaluate current processes and identify areas ripe for improvement.
  • Project Management & Reporting: Define project goals, secure resources, track progress, and report milestones and savings.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to implement improvement initiatives.
  • Analysis and Problem Solving: Use Lean and Six Sigma principles to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems affecting business operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 – 10 years experience in industrial manufacturing.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and problem-solving skills are essential.

This role requires working in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise, heat, and moving machinery. The ideal candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for extended periods during process observation.
