Job Title: Materiel Logistics Specialist

The Australian Government is seeking a highly skilled and experienced specialist to join the National Shipbuilding Sustainment Group as a CSMP ILS Officer-Sustainment.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the maintenance and programmed upgrade of Australia's Collins Class submarines, working in partnership with the Royal Australian Navy and Industry to deliver strategic submarine capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret relevant ILS policy and advise stakeholders on required outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain policy, processes and systems to support sustainment of equipment in accordance with Defence requirements.
  • Review, analyse and report upon materiel logistics performance.
  • Cultivate relationships with stakeholders at strategic and operational level.
  • Prepare and deliver high-level written documents and oral presentations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a related field such as Logistics or Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a related field, preferably in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
