You'll play a key role in providing geotechnical input for stope designs, ground support assessments and designs, quality control of ground support and geotechnical monitoring.

  • Carry out regular underground inspections and make recommendations on ground support
  • Manage and interpret geotechnical monitoring data
  • Provide timely geotechnical input into short and long-term mine planning
  • Conduct critical control verifications and monthly audits to manage geotechnical hazards
  • Prepare and maintain risk assessments and trigger action response plans (TARPs)
  • Collaborate with technical service teams, mine operations and external consultants
  • Contribute to improving geotechnical practices and systems
  • Lead and manage underground geotechnical projects, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are met
