Job Description:
">CitiPower and Powercor is looking for a Communications Network Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work on the delivery, maintenance, and lifecycle management of analogue and digital communications systems supporting critical electricity network operations.
">The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering effective communications network solutions, providing technical expertise and engineering support across the business, and supporting the development and maintenance of communications systems associated with protection, control, instrumentation, SCADA systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">A Bachelor's degree qualification in Electrical and/or Electronic and/or Communications Engineering
">At least 5 years' experience in the electricity or telecommunications industry and communications experience
">Subject Matter Expertise in at least one communications system including Supervisory Copper, Optical Fibre, Substation Ethernet, Digital Radio, Cellular Network, Microwave and Mesh Radio networks
">Experience with ISO 55001, RAMS, RBI or equivalent
">Experience with IEC 62443 Cybersecurity framework or equivalent
">Detailed understanding of other Communications technologies additional to SME area
">Demonstratable knowledge of the electrical distribution network
">Sound understanding of System Engineering elements and principles
