System Solutions Engineer

Compass, a leading education technology company, is seeking an experienced System Solutions Engineer to join its team. As a key member of our technical sales team, you will play a vital role in designing and delivering solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.

  • Job Description:
  • We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our team as a System Solutions Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with our clients to understand their business requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.
  • As a System Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with our internal teams to develop and implement solution designs that meet client expectations.
  • You will also be responsible for developing and delivering presentations, proposals, and other sales materials to support the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver solution designs that meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solution feasibility and accurate scoping.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, proposals, and other sales materials to support the sales cycle.
  • Provide consultative input on product configuration and implementation feasibility.
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security assessments with accuracy and confidence.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a solutions engineering, pre-sales consulting, or technical sales role (ideally in SaaS, EdTech, or enterprise software).
  • Strong technical fluency across software platforms, APIs, integrations, and data security concepts.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with an ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with the education sector, especially K-12 operations, is highly regarded.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and fast-paced growth environments.
