Northern Territory Operations Manager

The General Manager, Northern Territory is responsible for the effective management and leadership of the Northern Territory operations, including marine and bus operations, sales and marketing, fleet maintenance, people leadership, financial management, strategy and business growth, risk and safety management, and customer and corporate support.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and lead the Northern Territory operations to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies for business growth and expansion.
- Oversee sales and marketing efforts to increase revenue and market share.
- Ensure effective fleet maintenance and management.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team.
- Manage financial performance and make informed business decisions.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure business continuity.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Extensive leadership experience in a commercial business.
- A proven track record in negotiating and managing partnership agreements.
- High-level interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with others.
- Experience in strategic planning and business plan implementation.
- Sound knowledge of the political processes that may impact the business.
- Experience in dealing with the media and crisis management.
- Previous knowledge and experience in managing a business with a strong focus on safety and risk.
- Experience in the tourism industry will be well regarded.
