Job Title: Director of English Language Training
About the Role:
- Lead and manage a multifunctional team in charge of delivering high-quality English language training programs.
- Develop and implement strategic direction for the department, ensuring alignment with university objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including academics, administrative staff, and international partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic leadership and oversight to ensure compliance across ELT programs.
- Conduct environmental scanning, engage with sector experts, and set the department's strategic direction.
- Drive business development and ensure revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies and partnerships.
Requirements:
- Degree and postgraduate qualifications relevant to English language teaching and management.
- TESOL qualifications and extensive experience in English language training programs.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with a track record of successful team management and project delivery.
- Experience in developing, teaching, and evaluating English courses for academic and professional purposes.
- Demonstrated awareness of pathway options and issues related to international students undertaking direct entry English language programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
