Job Description

Develop and enhance low-latency exchange connectivity applications by designing, implementing, and delivering complex software systems that meet business needs. Manage a team of highly technical software engineers and lead projects from inception to deployment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex applications that meet demanding performance and scalability goals in a trading environment.

 
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline
  • At least five years of experience as a technology team lead
  • At least three years of experience leading teams in the financial markets industry, managing multiple concurrent projects from analysis to production
  • Experience with exchange connectivity technology
  • Ten or more years of experience designing and developing applications using object-oriented programming in C++ on Linux, including knowledge of design, profiling, performance tuning, OO, generic programming, STL, Boost, sockets, multi-threading, and IPC
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a thorough understanding of full software development lifecycle and performance optimization/latency reduction methodologies
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of financial products, exchange connectivity, and market data
