Infrastructure Portfolio Specialist

This role focuses on portfolio prioritization, investment planning, and governance support within the government space.

Main Responsibilities
  • Implement a Portfolio Prioritization Framework to enhance investment planning and decision-making processes.
  • Develop practical prioritization tools using relevant frameworks and methodologies.
  • Provide advice on infrastructure portfolio planning, including demand forecasting, cost-benefit analysis, and program balancing.
  • Advise senior executives and government stakeholders on complex issues, facilitating workshops and briefings with confidence.
  • Build organizational capability by creating tools, templates, training, and guidance material.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to embed evidence-based prioritization practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Asset Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Planning, Business, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience in government infrastructure investment planning or capital portfolio management.
  • Experience working in complex organizations or government agencies.
  • Background in public sector reform, business transformation, or applying prioritization frameworks in infrastructure contexts.
