Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Auditor/Assistant Night Manager to join our team at Novotel Devonport. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the night shift, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the Front Office Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hotel Operations: Oversee the efficient operation of the hotel during the night shift, ensuring that all departments and hotel functions are running smoothly.
  • End-of-Day Auditing: Complete end-of-day auditing, reporting, and balancing for all departments and hotel functions.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and training to team members, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of all patrons, guests, and staff members, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a night auditor or assistant night manager role.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to work autonomously, and strong time management skills.
  • Certifications: Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate and First Aid.
  • Licenses: Full Tasmanian Manual Drivers Licence.
