About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at dnata catering. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our airline customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of international hot and cold meals in commercial quantities.
- Manage and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Ensure accurate food preparation and presentation.
- Monitor and control food costs and inventory.
- Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our airline customers.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher qualifications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.
