Job Title: Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Store Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of cleaning, trolley collection, and waste management specialists.

  • Partner with various store teams to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Fully flexible and available to work across early mornings, days, late nights, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team within cleaning, trolley collection, and waste management.
  • Create a roster for the team to ensure daily tasks and operations are covered.
  • Work with Store Leadership teams to identify challenges, areas of opportunity, and upcoming priorities.
  • Complete time and attendance activities for team members, including tracking hours, managing absences, and ensuring compliance with company policy.
  • Order consumables for stores, such as cleaning supplies, and maintain them within set limits.
  • Contribute to operational tasks alongside the team, providing direct support for smooth day-to-day activities, including cleaning, trolley collection, and waste management.
Requirements:
  • Ambitious mindset, retail experience, and passion for people in a promising role with career growth opportunities.
  • Flexibility to work in diverse environments, such as shop floors, fridges, freezers, and carparks.
  • Good eye for cleanliness and attention to detail.
  • Physical fitness is essential, as the role involves physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to work with Department Managers and the Store Leadership Team to plan and coordinate routines and timeframes.
  • Organisation skills to ensure the team has necessary equipment and supplies to work safely and efficiently.
  • Comfortable working within regulated frameworks (Food Safety, industrial regulations, code of conduct).
  • Valid full Australian drivers licence (Green Ps or full licence) for collecting trolleys using vehicles.
