Service Technician - Residential
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Anticipate and address customer needs promptly and efficiently.
- Apply specialized tools and follow documented procedures to diagnose and complete repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
- Perform scheduled maintenance activities on engine components in the field as per documented standards.
- Escalate unresolved issues to experienced Field Service Technicians or Supervisors.
- Document all services, including service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents via digital input screens.
- Identify additional service opportunities with customers.
- Participate in training programs aligned with business requirements and skill development.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of service vehicles and tools.
- Ensure adherence to Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any incidents to site management and supervisors.
- Complete repairs as required in the workshop setting.
Requirements:
- Hold an Apprentice Trained Engine Technician certification (Cert III) or equivalent qualification.
- Have intermediate-level experience in workshop or field service roles.
- Possess knowledge and/or experience with engine products at an intermediate level.
- Prior heavy vehicle experience is preferred.
- HR License is also preferred.
