Job Overview

Charterhouse is seeking a skilled Senior Retail Lease Manager to join our dynamic team in New South Wales. As a key member of our leasing team, you will play a critical role in managing lease contracts between retail tenants and property owners across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of lease contracts, ensuring legal obligations are met and minimising income risk for the owner.
  • Administer letters of offer, disclosure statements, and lease renewals.
  • Assist Leasing Executives in obtaining Owner approval for terms outside of authority limits.
  • Oversee the solicitor instruction process for new leases, renewals, assignments, and surrenders.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate terms and drive successful outcomes.

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of retail lease terminology, with 5+ years in a similar role (property, landlord-side, or as a property paralegal).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and a problem-solving mindset.
