About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our People Strategy and Workforce Planning Branch as an Assistant Director. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team and contribute to the development of people strategies that enhance employee experience and outcomes for participants, families, and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop strategic improvement process design and development
  • Coordinate responses regarding issues of strategic risk and significance
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increasing efficiencies using quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Provide technical support to resolve business-specific issues
  • Support and develop structured insights, identifying priorities, defining scope, and providing recommendations for strategic projects
  • Develop and interpret policy and strategy while maintaining an understanding of sensitive organisational and political issues
  • Contribute and create materials for senior internal and external stakeholders, including the Minister, Board, and Executive Leadership Team
  • Engage with key stakeholders, ensuring that policy and strategy development is contemporary, relevant, and evidence-informed
