Job Overview

This role involves assisting the geological team with core yard operations, focusing on surface and underground drilling programs. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within a committed and passionate team.

The successful applicant must hold a valid manual driver's license, possess a reasonable level of physical fitness, and be willing to work competently in outdoor roles during drill program downtime.

This position requires manual labor tasks and offers opportunities for training and development on site.

  • Support the geological team in core yard operations
  • Participate in site orientation and safety briefings
  • Distribute daily tasks as directed by senior team members
  • Process and check drill core in the core shed; core handling and photography
  • Sample preparation and dispatch coordination to assay laboratories
  • Data entry into software applications
  • Support rehabilitation of drill sites and fieldwork
