Overview

Role Details: Reporting to the Dispatch Supervisor at St Ives, you will contribute to the effective operation of the mine from a control room, provide tactical shift oversight, and execute the shift plan to improve overall production in a safe and efficient manner.

This role can be offered as residential in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie on a 4 days on, 4 nights on, 6 days off roster. Bus transportation is offered to and from site for residential candidates and relocation assistance will be offered to the successful candidate if required.

About the role
  • Assist in optimising mining activities by providing operational coordination through the effective use of the fleet management system as part of the shift management team along with production, drill & blast and Maintenance Supervisors and Leading Hands
  • Ensure the equipment stoppages and delays are planned and coordinated to reduce impact to the production cycle
  • Coordinate and monitor equipment operator breaks and ensure equipment is refueled and delivered for planned maintenance in accordance with shift plan
  • Contribute to procedures and documentation for the safe and efficient operation of Dispatch
  • Liaise with the crew, Dispatch Technician and Supervisor to ensure that the technology infrastructure, systems and main data references are maintained and working correctly
About you
  • Previous experience in Komatsu and Caterpillar fleets in an operational context would be highly regarded
  • Previous experience working with Wenco, Modular, Jigsaw or MineStar
  • Valid Driver's License is mandatory
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Demonstrated high level of safety standards and work behaviours
