About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dependable and professional individual to support a government contract in the Perth Central District. This is a night-shift and weekend role, requiring availability to respond to urgent incidents, make sites safe, and coordinate specialist contractors.


We are looking for a minimum of two to four staff members to share the roster and ensure full coverage.



Shift Coverage Requirements
  • Monday to Thursday: 4:00 pm – 6:00 am (overnight shifts)
  • Friday 4:00 pm – Monday 6:00 am: Continuous weekend coverage on rotating shifts
  • Public Holidays: Coverage as rostered (penalty rates apply)


Key Responsibilities
  • Attend after-hours call-outs promptly, meeting agreed service levels
  • Assess incidents, implement safety measures, and arrange necessary repairs
  • Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to coordinate works
  • Complete clear incident reports with photos and supporting information
  • Comply with Workplace Health & Safety and fatigue management requirements
  • Operate company vehicle, tools, and PPE responsibly and professionally


Requirements
  • Trade, handyman, maintenance, or traffic management background advantageous
  • Physically fit, confident working independently, and calm under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and professional presentation
  • Current WA Driver's Licence (manual preferred)
  • Police clearance or ability to obtain
  • Flexibility for night and weekend work
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Traffic Management Accreditation
  • Previous government or emergency response experience
