Job Overview

The Urgent Care Service is seeking a skilled and adaptable nurse to join our team as a vital member of the front-line care service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage patients who present to Urgent Care, ensuring they receive prompt and comprehensive care in collaboration with medical practitioners.
  • Conduct thorough nursing triage, identifying potential issues and escalating emergencies as required.
  • Perform procedural tasks such as suturing and plastering, while demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in the dynamic Urgent Care environment.
About You
  • AHPRA Registered Nurse with strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential, along with a willingness to provide a Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
  • Previous experience in emergency departments, remote nursing or ICU is highly regarded, although a minimum of 3 years' experience in acute care settings is preferred.
