Manufacturing Operations Manager
The Manufacturing Operations Manager is a critical role that oversees the entire manufacturing process, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production of goods while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute manufacturing strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
- Oversee daily operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability targets are met or exceeded.
- Implement quality control measures to meet customer expectations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless coordination and communication throughout the manufacturing process.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize production workflows, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
- Manage and develop a high-performing manufacturing team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and quality management systems.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and management abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Proven experience in a senior manufacturing management role, with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing manufacturing strategies that drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing principles, processes, and technologies.
- Proficient in using manufacturing software systems and tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices within the manufacturing industry.
