Job Description

We are seeking a professional to fill a dynamic role as a Depot Operations Coordinator. This position requires flexibility in traveling to various depots to provide customer service, manage orders, and maintain stock levels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations at our depots. This includes providing excellent customer service, managing orders, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves working closely with the fleet coordinator, drivers, and other depot operations coordinators to deliver safe and reliable outcomes for our customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on new challenges and develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. If you have a strong focus on customer service, a willingness to learn, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to queries, generating quotes, recording sales, and managing ongoing orders.
  • Travel to various depots to provide support and relief where needed.
  • Complete daily administrative tasks to support depot operations.
  • Manage receipting, warehousing, reconciliation, dispatch, and delivery of packaged lubricants products.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and wellbeing across all depot activities.
  • Perform routine depot compliance, maintenance, and inspection tasks.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A forklift licence (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Customer service and stock control/management experience.
  • An understanding of safe work practices and transport/logistics.
  • Experience in dangerous goods/petroleum industry (desirable but not mandatory).
