Supporting Individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries

As a dedicated support worker, you will play a vital role in empowering an individual with a traumatic brain injury to live independently within their home. This rewarding opportunity allows you to make a positive impact on someone's life.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing and dressing
  • Providing support with therapy tasks including exercise and rehabilitation programs
  • Administering medication as required
  • Operating mobility equipment to enhance the individual's independence
  • Offering light domestic assistance with household chores
  • Preparing meals and snacks to ensure the individual's nutritional needs are met
  • Encouraging community participation and social interaction

You will be part of a supportive team and receive training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements for Success
  • Current references available upon request
  • A reliable mobile phone for communication
  • A valid driver's license and own vehicle for transport
  • An NDIS worker screening check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
  • A current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
  • A genuine passion for caring and commitment to client wellbeing
  • A Working with Children Check for paid work or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
Flexible Scheduling Options
  • Sunday 8am - 10am
  • Alternate Monday 8am - 3:15pm
  • Tuesday 7am - 10am and overnight 9pm - 7:30am
  • Alternate Wednesday overnight 9pm - 7:30am
  • Thursday 3pm - 9:30pm
  • Friday 3pm - 9:30pm
  • Saturday 8am - 3:15pm
