Guest Experience Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Guest Experience Lead to oversee daily service operations across a premium venue.

This role requires championing guest satisfaction, coaching and rostering teams, upholding service standards, and partnering with kitchen and beverage leads to deliver smooth services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach and roster teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences across all services
  • Oversee floor operations, section allocations, reservations and waitlist management
  • Drive sequence-of-service, table-touches, upselling and guest recovery protocols
  • Collaborate with Bar/Beverage and Culinary leaders on menu launches and service coordination
  • Manage labour; interpret P&Ls and service KPIs
  • Maintain compliance with RSA/RSF, incident reporting and safety protocols
  • Recruit, onboard and develop team members; run pre-shift briefs and training
  • Ensure accurate cash-up, POS and end-of-day procedures

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years' recent leadership experience in a premium restaurant or bar
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage service standards and handle guest recovery
  • Working knowledge of labour planning, budgets, stock and POS systems
  • Strong wine/spirits and food knowledge with confident communication
  • Current NSW RSA (or ability to obtain before start)
  • Availability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends/public holidays
