Structural Engineer Job Description

As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for performing structural analysis, acceptance testing, certification, and troubleshooting across various steel and concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough structural assessments to ensure the integrity and safety of structures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and assess structures, including steel lattice towers, guyed structures, and concrete foundations.
  • Develop and implement preventative and corrective maintenance strategies for complex structures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Strong experience in structural analysis and design, preferably with steel lattice or similar large-scale structures.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant engineering standards, including AS 4100, AS 3600, AS 3995, and AS 1170.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
