The Opportunity

You'll be working on critical projects that aim to change the way NSW operates forever. Our Water team is dedicated to providing efficient and integrated water systems that cater to the growth of NSW while maintaining exceptional environmental outcomes.

We address complex water cycle challenges and offer tailored solutions through flexible program delivery models and ongoing asset management programs. Our significant work includes supporting key water utilities such as Sydney Water, Water NSW, Sydney Desalination Plant, SA Water, Urban Utilities, and Melbourne Water to achieve phased savings in capital expenditure while delivering outstanding environmental and community results.

Your Responsibilities

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you'll lead technical direction, client relationships, and commercial objectives for projects within the water sector. You'll also explore new ways to integrate virtual reality and artificial intelligence, ensuring your skills are up-to-date with the latest technological advancements.

To succeed in this role, you'll require experience with design practices for water & wastewater across utilities and industrial sectors. A pragmatic approach to developing constructable design solutions and proven commercial acumen in delivering water infrastructure will be highly valued.

Salary Information

We offer an estimated salary of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. This competitive package includes industry-leading salaries reviewed annually, 20 days' leave per year plus an additional day off every four weeks (33 days in total), flexible work arrangements, and a range of benefits including life/health insurance discounts, employee stock purchase plans, paid parental leave, and personal career development plans.
