The Role

A major rural referral hospital provides specialist and subspecialist care to a large population. The hospital is equipped with modern facilities, a 24-hour emergency department, intensive care services, and diagnostic capabilities. It also serves as a teaching hospital fostering education, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

As a Consultant Neurologist, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality neurological services for inpatient and outpatient care
  • Supervise and mentor trainees fostering skill development
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams enhancing patient outcomes
  • Contribute to service growth and clinical governance initiatives
Requirements

To be eligible, you must:

  • Hold Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent overseas qualification
  • Be eligible for specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Demonstrate strong clinical, teaching, and communication skills
