This Casual Disability Support Worker role is available in Bathurst NSW for Entry level or Experienced professionals. All new starters receive training to ensure a comfortable and prepared start.
The successful candidate must have significant availability during the Christmas period, across days/nights, weekends and public holidays with generous penalties.
Key Responsibilities- Support individuals in their daily living needs within supported independent living settings (SIL/Group Homes)
- Provide direct support across various customer needs, including domestic and personal care assistance, and assisting customers to engage with the community
- Ability to work shift patterns, regular sleepovers, weekends, public and school holidays with high availability
- Resilience, confidence and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships
- Capability to obtain NDIS Workers Screening Check prior to commencement
- Proficiency in using computers and learning multiple software programs
- Potential for ongoing hours
