Job Opportunity: Specialised Care Worker

HammondCare At Home is expanding its services and seeking part-time Specialised Carers to support clients across the Bathurst region.

Flexible work arrangements include days of the week, start and finish times, and weekend loading if desired.

About the Role:

This position involves providing essential care to help older people live independently in their homes, enhancing their quality of life.

The role requires travel to clients' homes using a personal vehicle, with compensation for kilometres travelled plus paid time.

Care duties may include:

  • Providing personal care such as showering and dressing
  • Assisting with daily household tasks like meal preparation and light cleaning
  • Transporting clients to appointments and helping with shopping
  • Supporting medication management

About You:

You must be able to relate well to people, be patient, and solutions-focused.

Prior experience in aged or community care is advantageous, but training is available for those interested.

A valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable vehicle are mandatory.

A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is preferred, but training can be provided for progression.

Flexibility is crucial in meeting changing client needs.
